About Us

Virtual Sales Ltd is run by Managing Director and experienced Business Development Consultant Andy Dickens who, along with a team of associates, brings over 40 years experience of working in business development in the IT software industry.

He has held several senior management roles with software vendors such as Visio – A US based Company specialising in Drawing and Diagramming Software, where he was one of the first employees in Europe. He was instrumental in setting up and running the Channel in Northern Europe, Middle East and Africa and also for recruiting and managing a team of over 30 corporate sales people by the time he left the Company.

Other roles have included EMEA Sales Director for Red Hat Europe where once again he was one of the first hires and defined and set up relationships with over 50 partners on a pan-European basis. He also set up, recruited and managed a successful pan-European internal corporate sales team.

Along with a team of associates and a wide network of contacts, Andy set up Virtual Sales Limited, a telemarketing and New Business Development agency, in 2001, where recent clients include Microsoft, Planet SAM, Kogo, Project Box, and Thinkscape.

VSL offers sales consultants that come with many years’ experience and do not need to work from scripts. In addition we can offer our clients a very flexible approach to their telemarketing campaigns starting from as little as one day a week. This enables even the smaller based companies to be able to afford an extension to their sales efforts and really make a difference.
